These craft workshops & events took place in September 2025. Check our current calendar for upcoming dates and availability.
This September, let’s embrace the cosy and colourful vibes of autumn with a fresh lineup of new workshops!
You can add a touch of autumnal charm to your home with a beautiful autumnal wooden collage heart or an autumnal-themed fabric art collage. If you’re a fan of miniatures, you’ll love our new workshops on making cute miniature felt pies and button books. You can also create a personalised gift or keepsake by crafting your own quote keyrings.
We also have a few new groups starting this month. We’re excited to introduce the Together Table, where skilled crafters can volunteer their time to create items for good causes using our donated scraps for free. We’re also launching the Social Stitch, a free session where you can bring your own crafts to sit, create and chat with other like-minded crafters.
Our friends at Seaview Studios are back this month with two more amazing workshops. You can learn to create stunning fused sea glass waves or master the art of painting beautiful watercolour feathers and autumn leaves.

How It Works
**How to Apply for a Workshop**
To sign up for a specific workshop, simply follow the instructions detailed below.
For our own “Create & Connect” workshops and multi-part craft courses, this normally means calling us on 01803 392436 or visiting us in-store to book. We’ll take your details and arrange payment.
For workshops led by external providers, please follow the booking procedures specified. For example, workshops run by Seaview Studios will include a link that takes you to their own booking page. They will take responsibility for managing your booking and taking payment.
Note: Please make sure you can meet the course requirements with regard to:
- Any equipment you may need to provide yourself
- The dates you will need to be available

Fused Glass Seaside Wave
Saturday, September 6th, 2025 | 1pm – 3pm
Craft a one-of-a-kind, seaside-inspired masterpiece! No prior experience is needed to create your very own fused glass seaside wave, measuring around 6 x 23cm. We’ll supply all the materials you need. Once complete, your design will be taken away to be kiln-fired and returned to us at Torbay Scrapstore in approx two weeks for you to collect.
Price: £35 per person.

Watercolour Feather & Autumn Leaves
Wednesday, September 24th, 2025 | 7pm – 9pm
Dive into the rich colors of autumn and capture the magic of the season with our fun Watercolour Feather and Autumn Leaves workshop! No experience is needed as you explore simple painting techniques to create your own beautiful pictures or cards. With a little guidance and inspiration, you’ll be able to reproduce your own designs, which you can then mount onto blank cards. All paints, brushes and paper are provided.
Price: £20 per person.
