This July, let your creativity bloom at Torbay Scrapstore! Sun-kissed days call for crafty escapades and we’ve brewed up a brilliant batch of workshops to spark your imagination.
Unfurl your creative wings as you craft pretty hanging flowers and butterflies. Dive into needle felting to make adorable mushrooms that are sure to grow on you! Or, spread some joy with handmade cards. We’ll also be weaving dreams with bohemian wall hangings, exploring the art of decoupage and stitching up charming bobbin houses (a little sewing know-how helps!). Gather your scraps for vibrant fabric collages (some basic sewing involved), or catch the light with your very own sparkling crystal sun catchers. Plus, you can design elegant bead and lace pomanders and get tied up in the popular art of macrame for stunning wall decorations.
And, if all that wasn’t enough, you can dive deep into the tranquil depths of watercolour painting, create beautiful sea glass pictures, or explore the intricate artistry of iris folding, with our friends at Seaview Studios!

How It Works
**How to Apply for a Workshop**
To sign up for a specific workshop, simply follow the instructions detailed below.
For our own “Create & Connect” workshops and multi-part craft courses, this normally means calling us on 01803 392436 or visiting us in-store to book. We’ll take your details and arrange payment.
For workshops led by external providers, please follow the booking procedures specified. For example, workshops run by Seaview Studios will include a link that takes you to their own booking page. They will take responsibility for managing your booking and taking payment.
Note: Please make sure you can meet the course requirements with regard to:
- Any equipment you may need to provide yourself
- The dates you will need to be available
